Our Mission

Kolbe2452_edited.jpg

“Our Purpose as fathers and husbands is to get ourselves and our family to heaven.”

The Mission of 16670 Gentleman’s Club is to elevate, support, and expand our purpose as fathers , husbands and men of good will. We do this through Catholic Fellowship, Theology, Tradition, Camaraderie, Prayer, Sacrifice, and a desire to be a Saint. By our collective zeal for the Catholic Faith, our self-sacrifice for the other, and our love and devotion to The Immaculata, we surrender ourselves completely into the hands of the Queen of Heaven, just as our patron and model St. Maximillian Kolbe did so perfectly, so that in the end, through her, we all may obtain a crown... or two

What is 16670?

The number 16670 (sixteen – six – seventy) was assigned to the club’s patron,

St. Maximillian Kolbe, when he was a prisoner in Auschwitz.
16670 is a reminder to all the members of the club of the heroic act of St. Maximillian Kolbe; He laid down his life so that a family might not be deprived of a husband and a father. By the heroic martyrdom of charity, St. Maximillian Kolbe reminds us that the value of family life is worth our total sacrifice.

Gentleman's Club?

The distinction of what a Gentleman's Club was traditionally known for, and what it is commonly known for today must be made clear, as many may be misinformed of where it all really began.

Gentleman's Club's started in the late 1800's as a private club for wealthy and prestigious Englishmen, where they would gather to socialize over drinks and cigars, with other well dressed, like-minded, and sophisticated men, in an atmosphere full of artwork and classical books free from the everyday stress of life. It later became popularized for upper-middle class men in the 19th and early 20th century.

Today, these private exclusive gentleman's clubs still exist all over the world.

Now, some people today associate a Gentleman's Club to the late 20th century Clubs involving the immoral immodesty of women and the sinful disordered perversion of men. Such clubs are open to the general public where socializing is at the bottom of the list and getting drunk is at the top, where there is no dress code, no standards, no voting, no initiation, no invitation, and frankly no class. It goes without saying, this Gentleman's Club is not that.

Who we are?

We are a group of Catholic Gentlemen well established in our spiritual life, we are comprised of fathers, husbands and men of good will striving to become holy, by always seeking to do good to one another, united in a common goal to get ourselves and our family and each other and their family to heaven.

We are firm in our belief and bold in our faith. We are men of Prayer, Honor, Respect and Obedience to God and his Church. We are traditional-minded Catholics, obedient to the Magisterium, and defenders of the Vicar of Christ.

We seek detachment from earthly things and attachment to heavenly things.

We seek to re-establish the Catholic culture in our community for our families and friends and for future generations to come.
